Gehna and Gaurav, born in a small village near Patna, were married as children as per local customs, becoming friends and then lovers. Having promised Gehna that he would return for her, Gaurav set out on an ambitious journey to become a model in the city. Gehna builds a small life for herself in the village, whereas Gaurav manages to get a job as a driver for a famous fashion designer, Urvashi. Gehna sets out to bring her husband back to the village. However, situations force Gaurav to hide his marriage from Urvashi.
